As 2024 draws to a close, we’re reflecting on a remarkable year of growth and opportunity at Palmer-Donavin. This year, we’ve worked hard to enhance and expand our offerings, build on our manufacturer relationships, and provide greater value to our dealers in both the Midwest and Southeast. Here’s a recap of the exciting line extensions we’ve introduced this year. 

Midwest: Expanding Horizons with Engineered Wood and More 

In 2024, we leveraged our strong relationships from the DHP acquisition to bring new partnerships and product offerings to the Midwest. Through our Grove City branch in Ohio, we introduced a new product category, Engineered Wood Products (EWP), featuring offerings from Roseburg. This initiative is supported by comprehensive design services, sales expertise, and special trucking with dedicated delivery routes, ensuring seamless service and solutions for our customers in this region.  

Our first year was a success, marked by significant growth in our delivery capabilities, with deliveries increasing from one to two days a week. We also invested in acquiring specific trucks to support this expanded service. Looking ahead, we’re excited to continue our expansion efforts, with plans to extend these offerings to our Delphos branch. More information on this exciting growth will be coming soon.

As our partnership evolves, we see opportunities to support continued growth in the region through enhanced collaboration and tailored solutions. We aim to streamline project execution and bring added value to builders. Our commitment is to work closely with our partners, providing reliable products and efficient service to help drive mutual success. 
 
We also see the partnership evolving by diversifying product mix with additional SKUs, including LVL columns, to better meet the needs of builders. Additionally, we envision expanding our EWP footprint to all PD locations, strengthening our presence and ensuring greater access to our high-quality products across the region. 

We also expanded our railing lineup to include Color Guard Railing Systems and Screeneze, two valuable additions made possible through the strong partnerships established through our DHP acquisition. These innovative products meet the growing demand for enhanced outdoor spaces by prioritizing safety, aesthetics, and ease of installation.  

Additionally, we are excited to expand the Kitchen Kompact collection with the new Gray color offering. This sleek, modern option offers the style and affordability homeowners are seeking, ensuring our dealers stay ahead of current trends. 

Southeast: Strengthening Exterior Solutions 

For our Southeast region, 2024 was a year of leveraging our partnerships and expanding product offerings. We expanded our offerings with Westbury Aluminum Railing, a premium product known for its strength, beauty, and low-maintenance appeal. This addition was made possible by leveraging our strong relationships in the Midwest, enabling us to introduce this sought-after product to the Southeast market, perfectly catering to the growing demand for upscale outdoor living solutions. 

We also added Cedar Renditions Aluminum Siding, a product that blends modern aesthetics with the timeless appeal of cedar. Its durability and wood-like finish have made it a standout option for projects demanding both style and performance.
